Data Deletion

The business you messaged decides how its conversations are used, so you can ask it to delete your data. You can also email us at info@smplai.co with:

• the business, Facebook Page or Instagram account you messaged;
• the channel: WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram or website chat;
• your name, username or phone number as that business sees it.

We will confirm your request, let the business know, and delete your messages, the files you sent and your contact details from its conversations within 30 days.

To stop Smpl AI receiving your messages, disconnect the account in your Smpl AI dashboard (the agent’s Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp tab), or remove Smpl AI from your Facebook settings (Business integrations) or from the connected apps in your business portfolio’s settings in Meta Business Suite.

To delete the data we hold for the account — its conversations, files, contact details, access tokens and settings — email info@smplai.co from your account’s email address with the name of the Page, Instagram account or number. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.

Email info@smplai.co from the account owner’s email address. We will close the account and delete its data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

• Conversations and messages, and the files and voice-note transcripts in them.
• Contact details: names, usernames, phone numbers and the IDs Meta assigns to people.
• Access tokens and settings for connected accounts.
• When an account is closed: its agents, their instructions and knowledge, and the team’s details.

Copies in backups and logs are deleted on their normal cycle, generally within 90 days.
